Welcome to the Horseshoe Grille. The Horseshoe Grille’s proud tradition spans four generations of family ownership. Beginning as a small, members-only social club in the 1920’s, the “Horseshoe Club” stood in the same location as it does today. In 1957 the club opened it’s doors to the public, added live music and dancing and was re-christened “The Horseshoe Lounge”
The business gained a loyal following and very little was changed until Pat Lee Jr. took over the business in 1985. After studying the seasoned Pitmasters of the South while living in both Houston and Kansas City, Lee brought a knowledge and passion for slow-smoked southern barbecue and transformed the old bar and lounge into an award-winning barbecue restaurant.
Fast forward to 2004 when Lee realized that it was time to take his popular “rib joint” to the next level. After months of careful planning, the new and improved Horseshoe Grille opened it’s doors to rave reviews from customers and critics alike. Centered around a stone hearth and fireplace, the dining room expresses a cozy family atmosphere and the Boston Globe has recognized the Horseshoe’s contemporary American faire and classic barbecue favorites as some of the best in Metro Boston.At The Horseshoe Grille we take pride in making sure that your time with us is a memorable one.
